Happy New Year!

Glen's Kung Fu Club (Raymond Wong's Kung Fu School) recently did a demo for the Chinese New Year at the Chinese Cultural Center downtown. Glen did a form (Yau Lo Lauhan - sp?) as well as Iron Palm. This was his first attempt at a side chop with his right hand. He already did it with his left earlier in the week. Both were a success! Caroline and Tianna went along to film the demonstration and take these pictures.

Tianna & Glen

We've been struggling thse last few months to get a good night's sleep. Sonya wakes up three to four times a night and seems to have quite a bit of gas pain. We've narrowed down a few culprits in Robyn's diet that seem to effect her: dairy, corn, nuts, onions, tomatoes, and eating beef or buffalo twice in a row. Sonya is steadily improving but it is still a balancing act. Unfortunately,
days where Sonya has a good night sleep normally have Catherine waking up with some issues. Otherwise, both girls are growing like weeds and both are sweet and joyful.

Recently, Robyn's cousin Lisa stopped by for lunch and a nice visit. It didn't take long for Catherine to end up in her lap.

Having a laugh

Doesn't it look natural? (Sorry...Had to say it!)

It is easy to forget how quickly they change and grow. Sonya is almost rolling from front to back now. Just that final umph is needed. She now weighs 15 lbs too. Daddy is proud. Mommy's arms are tired.

Tummy Time!

A very nice lady Robyn's mother works with at the library made these cute octopus's for the girls. Catherine likes to make them kiss. Sonya is all about manuevering the arms, as well as getting a tasty nibble. A sushi fanatic in the making?

Yum!

Catherine got her toddler bed last week. She was very helpful for Daddy, handing him screws and his "yellow" screwdriver. The next project: getting her to sleep in it!

Helping daddy put the screws in the holes

Catherine fetching daddy the next screw (couldn't seem to get the timing right to get a picture of her actually handing him the screw)

Trying out the new bed

Well, at least she's using it for something

I enjoyed the pictures - what a great way to share your family with others, especially when they are far away, like us! The girls are beautiful, and you and Glenn look happy. Thanks for giving me the address.
