I'm sure I'm jinxing all of Calgary when I say this but I think we can say goodbye to our snow boots. I've dusted my sandals hidden at the corner of the closet. We've had quite a busy few weeks. Most importantly, we had our yearly visit from our good friend Glyn. He even managed to stay with us for a weekend. The less we say about those never ending dart games the better.
Even though he was here for nearly 4 weeks, the time flew by. Here are the collection of family events that took place over the last month or so, as well as our family enjoying the spring season. The Grzyb family joined in the festivities for our first meeting with Glyn. We had a lovely potluck dinner at Malcolm & Jacqueline's.

Glen, Glyn & myself managed to escape to Sunshine for a ski adventure. There were no major crashes and we chose a fabulous day to leave the kids with Jacqueline. Beautiful clear skies and few people maneuvered the runs. We even braved (well....Glen did) bringing up a camera.

Whenever Glyn comes, he not only makes chocolate cake with neat smarties designs, he also treats the Hay clan, with respective spouses and children, to a Chinese dinner. We used to brave the restaurant but with a few rambunctious little people in our midst (not naming any names.....ahem), we ordered in and had a nice visit.

Catherine & Westley rode these ambulances around the kitchen for quite a while. Despite the noise, it was neat to see them play together.

Glen and I took the girls down for a walk along the river last weekend. It was beautiful and we look forward to restarting our Friday jogs once the weather warms up. :)

THEY ARE HOLDING HANDS!
So cute....unfortunately it didn't last long. Sonya was quite sad that her sister no longer wanted to hold her hand. Mommy's and daddy's wouldn't suffice either. It HAD to be Catherine.

We had a nice Easter Dinner at Gary and Donna's house. The girls enjoyed an Easter egg hunt as well as some nice gifts. The ears you see below were made by Devon. Check out her link on the left. She makes neat stuff.

Our Easter dinner with Glen's family was combined with Caroline's birthday, as well as Glyn's farewell dinner. Glen and I were quite full after two delicious meals.
