Phew! Last one...I swear! Another reason we keep on returning to Tigh-Na-Mara is that they have a huge park nearby for the girls to play. We visited Parksville Beach & Park about once a day. The girls loved it and Catherine was finally old enough to make friends as they run around. In fact, they played so much together, Daddy couldn't help but make friends with the girls' father. I simply chased after Sonya.

On our last day on the Island, we drove up to Campbell River to spend time with Veronica Sr.and the Jibikis, minus Kyo. Veronica bought everyone a lovely lunch from a local restaurant. Even the Bell family drove down to join in on the fun.

Taking turns very well. These three played great together. Too bad we live so far away. :(

Glen and I enjoying our last day on the island. We discovered a new beer called Hermann's Dark Lager on the island. Very tasty stuff.

We returned to the mainland and spent the rest of the day with Arnt & Hanny. They were getting their roof done so we decided to head home early.

And finally, one last picture with Arnt, Glen & the girls.

We were even lucky weather wise for the drive home. A cold front came in and brought the temperature down about 5 to 10 degrees. Unfortunately we hit several construction areas which slowed us down quite a bit. We still managed it in one drive. However I think the DVD player was pretty warm by the end. ;)
Have to love mountain weather
Gorgeous! Well worth the drive. Right, Glen?
